Pediatric & Family

Care shaped to a child's age, and appointments shaped around a family.

Children are not small adults, and a first dental visit sets the tone for every one that follows. What we want from an appointment with a young patient is that it turns out to be unremarkable: nothing rushed, nothing frightening, and no reason to dread the next one.

Care is age-appropriate. Examinations and cleanings, sealant and fluoride treatment where they help, x-rays when they are actually needed, and fillings if it comes to that.

Family bookings are welcome, and we will schedule a parent and child back-to-back so that one trip to Old Hope Road covers both. That matters more than it sounds when the alternative is two separate mornings away from work.

Oxford Dental Centre has looked after Kingston families for over thirty years, which is long enough to have learned that the habit is the thing being built, not just the teeth.
